Squealz On Wheelz – Join us on the 4th June as we embark on a whistle stop tour of Halifax’s most notable and spooky points of interest. From Wainhouse tower, to the Gibbett, To the Old Hospital and the gruesome areas known by the Yorkshire ripper! Factual, yet highly camp, come and join our BUS tour where anything could happen, expect laughs, gags, SHOCKS and we garuntee you’ll have learnt something by the time you get home!
The Lister Project – An Arts programme where we encourage local artists to supply pieces of work in a competition based auction. We plan on working with the Piece Hall to provide a gallery exhibition space for a week or two before our evening action in the summertime, LIVE on the piece hall stage. By opting in for a percentage commission we sell your art to prospective buyers gaining attention of local business leaders, art collectors etc. creating both income for local artists and the opportunity to fundraise for H.C.P simultaneously.
We are currently in works with looking for a sponsor for a cash prize that we would like to offer our competition winner, ideally before the auction will be shortlisted to a fab 5 (pun on Enid Blyton intended) and a vote will take place on the best art project. this would encourage participation even further. more details to be announced shortly so keep checking back!
